The small island of AMANTANI in Lake Titicaca, Peru, gave this double room its name. Here our guests can look out into the mountains from their bed and dream of the ancient Inca Empire and the Peruvian Andes in the delightful bathroom.

We named the oriental-inspired double room ASILAH after the dreamy coastal town that we got to know on our trip to Morocco. The sofa chair can be folded out and can be converted into a child's bed.

Inspired by the wonderful impressions of our travels over the last 20 years, we have revived the former Bed & Breakfast Hilderosa. Here you will find a touch of Goiserer's past, traditional verandas to recharge your batteries and reorganize, as well as beautifully renovated rooms with fine beds, airy cupboards, feel-good bathrooms ... and lots of coat hooks :) We're really looking forward to seeing you!
Our six one-of-a-kind Wanderlust Rooms are located in a lovingly renovated, century old house in the heart of beautiful Bad Goisern am Hallstättersee. Since 2021, vacationers and travelers from all over the world have been using our unique guest house as the perfect base to discover the beautiful Salzkammergut. We are very much looking forward to welcoming you - in summer and winter! Don't miss: In 2024, our area is European Capital of Culture.
Our house is located between the train station and the historic centre, each a few minutes' walk away. Bad Goisern is comfortably located on the railway line between Attnag-Puchheim and Stainach-Irdning, and although it is only a 3 minute walk to the train station, the trains cannot be heard all the way to our house. In summer we offer seating in our garden to spend a sunny day reading and relaxing. From the newly designed nearby market square you can hike in all directions - for example to the Predigstuhl and Ewige Wand, or to the Goiserer Hütte - and in winter you can take the free bus 50 meters from our house to one of the big ski areas (Dachstein West, Dachstein Krippenstein). Around the corner there is a small river, the relaxing Kurpark, the public outdoor swimming pool and a large children's playground. Anyone who loves nature will find almost everything close to us. Whether skiing, tobogganing, hiking, mountain biking, climbing or canoeing, whether a walk in the valley or a sunny day swimming in one of the beautiful lakes or the close public outdoor pool. The Wanderlust Boutique Rooms are the ideal base. There is a lot going on culturally here in the Alps, and our direct neighbour villages and towns also have a lot of charm... everything in our vicinity!

CHECK IN & CHECK OUT: By default you can do a self-check-in with a code from 4:00 p.m. Alternatively, the day before at the latest you can also request a personal check-in for 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Last minute bookings are not possible with personal check-in. For self-check-in, we will leave your key in the key box in the entrance porch and send you the code for the entrance door/key box separately a few days before your arrival via WhatsApp, email or in the Bookingdotcom chat (please briefly confirm the receipt). Check-out is possible until 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure.
GUEST AREA: The house is smoke-free and pet-free. We kindly ask our guests to enter the upper floors without street shoes. You can borrow comfy slippers or socks in all sizes from us, or you are welcome to bring your own slippers.
BREAKFAST: You can have breakfast with us every day (€16 per person, only if ordered in advance by 3pm the day before). If you prefer to have breakfast in a café, can do this from Monday to Saturday in our nearby cafés: CaféLaden (50m), Café Maislinger (100m) or Kurtis Café (900m). And of course you are welcome to enjoy your own breakfast in the porch. You will find coffee, tea, plates and cutlery in our tea kitchen.
ARRIVAL BY TRAIN: The train station is a comfortable 3 minute walk from our house. Simply follow the Bahnhofstraße (see Google Maps).
ARRIVAL BY CAR: The nearest free parking areas are located a 3 minute walk (200 meters) from our house: either at the train station Bad Goisern, or at the Stocksporthalle in Perdanner-Promenade (you can find both on Google Maps). For loading and unloading, you can park comfortably in front of the house for a short time.
INFO FOR WINTER GUESTS: You can use our video monitored ski room with heated shoe rack and enough space for your ski, snowboard, bob or sled. The free-of-charge ski bus takes you to the nearby ski regions Dachstein West (Gosau - Russbach - Annaberg) and Dachstein Krippenstein (Obertraun). The bus stop is 300m from our house.
LOCAL TAX: Visitors older than 15 have to pay a local tax of €3 per day. The local tax will be charged at check-out and passed through to the municipality of Bad Goisern.
CANCELLATION: If you cancel up to 15 days before the day of arrival, you will not pay a cancellation fee. After that, the entire overnight fee is due. We recommend taking out a travel cancellation insurance.
